Surrounded by birdsong and the spectacular scenery of Mt. Myogi, Sakura no Sato Prefectural Forest Park is home to around 5,000 cherry trees of 45 varieties, including Somei Yoshino, wild cherry, and double-flowered cherry trees.

Located on the southern slopes of Mt. Myogi, the spacious park is transformed into a sea of colorful blossoms each spring.
The combination of cherry blossoms and the dramatic rocky peaks of Mt. Myogi creates one of the area’s most impressive spring landscapes.

Cherry blossoms can usually be enjoyed from mid-April to early May, with different varieties blooming throughout the season.
