[Canceled Due to Rain] 55th Shimonita Konjac Summer Festival — 2026

The 55th Shimonita Konjac Summer Festival has been canceled due to forecasted rain on the day of the event.

The fireworks display will instead be postponed until the Autumn Grand Festival of Suwa Shrine, scheduled to take place in October.

Further details regarding the fireworks will be announced at a later date on the official website and social media.

Free Tourist Parking

The free tourist parking lot will be available on August 12, 13, and 14 despite the cancellation of the summer festival. Please feel free to use it.

※ The Dojo area will be closed as originally planned, and traffic will not be permitted. Please be advised.
