A bear was sighted near the Arafune Cold Air Cave on Friday, July 3, 2026.

As there is a possibility that the bear remains in the surrounding area, the site will be temporarily closed on weekdays during the following period.

The site will remain open on weekends and public holidays, as the shuttle bus will continue to operate and the site will be managed with appropriate safety measures in place.
